Greetings, Readers!

Melissa Gill is a published multi-genre writer based in Las Vegas, Nevada. She earned her BA in journalism and media studies at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Gill was a managing editor and roving reporter for Off The Strip, an independent online Las Vegas news publication, for more than two years.

Her writing appears in Grammy, Consequence of Sound, Thought Catalog, United By Pop, The Spectre Review, Flash Fiction Magazine, Raven Review, and elsewhere.

When she’s not chasing a story, she is likely playing chess with her husband, haunting local coffee shops, and watching offbeat horror flicks.

She's as curious as Nancy Drew, quirky as Luna Lovegood, and optimistic as Samwise Gamgee. She hopes to be reincarnated into a gothic librarian.

She is so happy that you are here, and she hopes you enjoy her work.

Every Good Story Deserves A Home

My stories, essays and other literary works that didn’t make it into a publication will be in this blog.
